Shari and Chuck were easygoing and welcoming hosts. the new kitchen is really nice, but tough to beat the location. outside space and parts of indoors are actually much nicer than they appear in the pics
Sharon's home was absolutely lovely. A beautiful back patio, lots of beach gear and an abundance of towels, well equipped kitchen and appliances. The proximity to a private, uncrowded beach was perfect for watching the sun rise and set. Excellent location, plenty to do in the neighborhood and easy to get to all the other places on the island. The host was communicative and gave clear instructions for us to follow. They were out of town but left their son in charge as back up support, in case we needed anything. Him and his wife were kind and welcoming and above all - understanding! Long story short, there were some personal things going on with our travel companions on the last night of our stay into the morning of check out and they were so empathetic and incredibly gracious enough to allow them to stay past check out to figure out what they needed. Just above and beyond. Highly recommend. Thank you!
We had a wonderful stay. Sharon and Chuck are incredibly helpful, friendly, and responsive. The location is not to be beat. Just a short walk to Kailua Beach, so private and peaceful. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a place on Oahu.
This was a great place! The location is perfect for beach access and excellent hiking. Sharon was very accomodating and allowed us to stay several hours past check out.
This place was more than what we expected. Sharon was a wonderful host and the beach access was literally 120 steps the sand with a private gate and the views and morning sunrise was spectacular. Kailua beach is definitely the nicest beach on the island and the privacy was incredible. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend everyone to stay at Sharons home.

We promise you the national #1 rated beach…the white sands of Kailua Beach. Adjacent to it, is Lanikai Beach. As you walk from your private accommodations, your picnic basket full of sparkling champagne or 7-up, papayas, mangos and pupus, you need only walk a few yards to the beach that will transport you to Paradise. The pristine water is preceded by spacious beachfront lawns leading the water's edge, iridescent in the afternoon sun. Go ahead, take a dip, the water is almost always warm. Too sunny, scoot your beach blanket under generous shade trees and pull out that novel you brought. If life's a beach, this is Hawaii's finest.
