We absolutely loved staying in Oyster Cottage. It was spacious and comfortable, and it had everything we needed for a wonderful stay in Devon. Highly recommend.

Lovely, homely cottage with plenty of indoor space. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Set in a pretty little harbour with lots of good, safe walks to enjoy. Train station at Starcross a 10min walk away, which we used for a trip to Exmouth, very enjoyable. Dawlish is a lovely, pretty town also and well worth the coastal/ country walk on a nice day, with the option of taking the train if preferred ( just 2 stops on train). Black swans & baby were a treat to see on the water in town. Cockwood is quiet, with The Anchor presently being the only pub but well worth a visit, very welcoming & dog friendly. A beautiful nature reserve just by the cottage gave us a pleasant view of 2 herons going about there business and we spotted a water vole. We arrived to have bread, milk & flapjacks bought in for us together with tea, coffee & sugar already in situ. All in all, Nick has thought of everything. Could not fault bedding, bathroom or lounge either. Thankyou so much.

we stayed here for five nights the cottage was very quaint and homely the kitchen was very well equipped the local pub was a two minute walk and staff and locals were very friendly there is plenty to see and do I would highly recommend oyster cottage

Great for exploring the Devon coastline by rail or road. The Anchor pub has an extensive shell fish menu (plus non fish items). Didn’t want to come home as we were so comfortable and relaxed. Nick was quick to respond and a great Airbnb host. Thanks for the welcome bread, milk and cakes 😊

Great few days at Oyster Cottage. The location is perfect for getting into Dawlish and beyond.
