We had a lovely time in very hot Portishead. Arthur and Jennie were great host. Friendly and generous. We loved the property and all its quirks. The views from the front, across the river mouth were amazing The garden was beautiful and ideal for our lab Archie. Parking wasn't a problem. We would highly recommend.

Perfect location, perfect view and perfect hosts. Beautiful property and Arthur is really helpful if you don’t know the area. The view took my breath away every time we returned to the property! 😀

Wij hebben genoten van een heerlijke week in noord Somerset. Het huis is heel charmant, ruim, en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het kanaal van Bristol ligt voor de deur en is perfect voor een wandeling langs het water. Het huis is perfect gelegen en is een goede uitvalsbasis om de omgeving te verkennen. De hosts zijn bovendien super vriendelijk en behulpzaam!

Sehr nette Gastgeber, die ein wirklich außergewöhnliches Feriendomizil bieten. Stets hilfreich , nett und sehr hundefreundlich. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und gemütlich. Portishead ist ein nettes Städtchen, man findet alles, was man braucht.

The cottage is at the back of No 63 & it is filled with original features. The property is on 2 levels, with one bedroom & bathroom downstairs & the other bedroom (both doubles) upstairs with its own bathroom & toilet. The cottage has everything you could need, Arthur & Jenni supplied all cleaning liquids, towels & tea-towels, along with shower gel if you forget your own. There is WiFi & plenty of games & books available. All recycling facilities is also provided. The hosts share their garden with you, which is lush & cool to sit in when hot. The cottage is situated on the coast road, lovely walks & The Windmill pub a stones throw away. There is a 15 min walk into Portishead Town centre & a bit longer to the outdoor lido. Highly recommend, comfortable & well furnished property with wonderful hosts.
