The unit was exactly as describe, and we loved falling into a small private pool at the end of a hot day - and their air conditioners worked very well! The kitchen provisions were nice, but there is no stove, only an electric fry pan and small toaster oven. There was a nice selection of restaurants recommended, all within 5 mins by taxi - and if after a long hot day, you didn't feel like walking down into town (5 mins) or taking a taxi, you could walk across the street to the resort which had a wonderful bar and restaurant overlooking the river. Our host was very responsive to our changing arrival time and occasional questions. We appreciated the assistance of Juan, the fulltime caretaker, who called taxis on our behalf and made helpful suggestions, a very nice person. We were right in town, but it felt like being in the country. Our unit was very quiet, with a nice private yard, and the gate was closed at night for extra security. We highly recommend this location & would return.

We couldn’t have had a better experience than this stay. Not only were the accommodations extremely nice and in a great location, the tours that the owner, Terry, offered were also amazing. We used her company for shuttles to and from the airport (they even stopped by the zoo for us) and also for two tours. Overall, we would love to come back and stay here again.

This Airbnb was great! Great views, right across from the San Ignacio resort so easy for breakfast and dinner. The plunge pool was great after a hot day. Location is right near downtown and easy walk to everything. Will definitely be going back to this location

Jameli’s place is the “gold standard” for AirBnB. If you are looking for a relaxed, picturesque vacation, go ahead and book away! Terri, who manages the property, is super responsive and sweet! She is very thoughtful- had beers, water and snacks for us upon arrival. There were abundant linens including towels for the pool! (Did I say we enjoyed the pool after a long day of sightseeing? We did a couple tours with Terri’s travel company and could not recommend them enough. The property is in a great location for walking downtown / restaurants. A great location for birdwatching and photography in the mornings and evenings. Juan the groundskeeper is great! Only tip: if you go by google/ waze maps, instead of property address look for San Ignacio Resort Hotel and this place in right across the street!
