We had a wonderful stay at Derek’s place! It was incredibly comfortable and cozy and was a perfect place for the group of us (7 people) to reconnect and ring in the new year. In particular, we loved the fire pit, the amazing kitchen/dining area, and the pool table. The house is very well designed and built - it was such a nice, clean, well equipped, and easy stay. Once you're up the driveway, there's really a sense of peace and solitude, as there's only nature to be seen. The hosts are communicative and responsive. They reached out before our stay and answered all of our questions and messages quickly. It's clear that this is their place they enjoy themselves. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

My family and I had such a wonderful time at Derek’s lovely home. Derek provided very clear directions and home instructions. The house is gorgeous, spacious, family friendly, clean and well provisioned. Lots to do in and around the house, as well as in the area. The photos do not do it justice. Derek was communicative, timely in responding to questions and flexible on check in and check out times. The only downside is that our visit was not long enough. I hope to be back soon! We stayed for Labor Day weekend at Derek’s beautiful country house. We had 4 kids between our 2 families (5, 4, 2.5 and 8 months) and there were lots of space for them to run around. They loved the trampoline and swings and the basement playroom was perfect for them to hang out in. The house was very clean and Derek left us helpful instructions on where everything was located. We would definitely go back!

This house is a real gem! We had a family reunion, and the fact that there is a lot of space both inside and outside meant the people could both congregate - in the living room, dining area and terrace - and recuperate from all the activity in their rooms. My kids loved the billiard area and the trampoline, and we all loved seeing animals emerging from the lush fields around the house, including deer, marmots, rabbits and birds. You're completely visually isolated in the sense that you can't see any other houses or even the road. We cooked a lot, and kitchen is well supplied for that. This a house that's lived in, so it features more the usual Airbnb minimum common denominator supplies. We're hoping to book the home again, which I think is the strongest possible endorsement!
