Jen's place is a treat. If you want a peaceful and serene escape you have to visit Jen's. Our winter getaway was perfect because of the touches and quality of our stay. EVERYTHING was as promised and the extra touches made us smile from entry to departure. Thank you Jen for a wonderful weekend.

Jen and Stephen’s place is an immaculate home on a peaceful river with a clean large hot tub. The property is fenced in and private with lots of beautiful trees. We were welcomed by fun sweets and biscuits for the dog. Even though it was winter, we got to see a weasel, cows grazing across the river, and lots of Chickadees.

This was our best stay yet. I actually thought the place was better in person! It's literally the best blend of roughing it but not at all. Quiet street, neighbors are close but Jen has done such a great job with the property you don't feel like anyone's close by at all. Very clean, hot tub was phenomenal and also very clean. And Jen herself is a pleasure to deal with and very thoughtful and thorough. We stayed in the winter so the town/area is alot quieter then summer I would imagine but that's what we wanted. I did give her a 3/5 on the price and that's nothing towards Jen, that's towards Airbnb. I think it's outrageous the amount someone pays in fees for this site. I think we payed over $500 in fees (Airbnb fee, cleaning fee) which is insane to me as it seems customary to clean the place before you leave anyways. I just hope Jen gets to keep most of the money, and this company doesn't squeeze it all cause everyone else is doing all the hard work! Rant over.

Beautiful decor and great privacy! Netflix was freezing alot but they did have a lot of DVD's mostly action and comedy. We brought our dogs but didn't notice any trails super close by so we stuck to the little gravel roads and met a few unleashed dogs but just barking back n forth. Hot tub was great and indoor fireplace was cozy, and lots of wood was provided for our stay! Was hoping for a little more snow and would love to the see the place in the summer!
