Lovely peaceful cottage, everything you’d need to feel right at home. Perfect sized garden for our two little dogs and plenty of walks nearby. Acouple of beautiful nearby beaches and surrounding towns to visit. Would definitely return x

We had a fantastic stay in Swallow Cottage and it served as a great base for us for a week exploring the local area. Immaculately presented with everything you need. Our hosts Matt and Rhona were helpful and friendly and our kids loved playing in the garden and meeting the cats!!

Great cottage. Friendly hosts next door. Really friendly dog and kittens living in the farmhouse. Good views from cottage and up the hill. Lovely and warm during very cold, windy and wet week. Very close to Dalbeattie with choice of food shops and places to eat in or take away. For eating we recommend: fish and chip shop and Luigi's in Dalbeattie; Loch Arthur cafe and farm shop, Beeswing (15 mins); Greek restaurant in Castle Douglas. Thanks for a great stay.

A fantastic place to stay, cant recommend it enough. Beautiful scenery, stunning bird life in surrounding forests. Lots of places to walk, simply perfect.
