自我介绍

I am a retiring homemaker, mother of 4; 3 daughters and a son. My husband Shri. Varakavi Subramania Swamigal was a poet, philanthropist, yogi and a hermit. He used to express his vision for the women in the world, he wanted to see empowered women who is economically, socially and spiritually independent. I was lately happened to get into reading his works after his passing away, I wanted to envision his vision of building a space for unity, peace and breaking the social barriers for enabling the exploited section of the society and empowering them through the thought of unity and fraternity. I have started to experiment his vision with myself. I have broke my cocoon and then my children came for my help. I have started with meeting people from various parts of the world, started with my own sign language to communicate, I can speak in Tamil, can understand a little English braving the language barrier my journey in hospitality started in 2016. Earlier my son and daughter were hosting people and I used to help them, I found my interest in serving good food and I am willing to meet people, learn new skills such as reading English, doing basic math, garden scaping etc. and having a curiosity in getting acquainted with the present day technology and evolving society, I am writing this brief with the help of my son, he is a Professional Social Worker and Livelihood Consultant. I found hosting gives me happiness and it is serving the purpose of my life to find our guests are having satisfied with the food prepared and served by me. I am continuing my experiment with the kitchen garden where I grow herbals and flowers directly goes into varieties of tea brewed by me. I invite you to try them at The Red Lily Community House at Shri Varakavi Subramania Swamigal Mutt, Auroville. Myself and my staff are available to assist you at our homestay in Auroville. My daughter or son will be available over phone for our visitors for any assistance.
