We had a great cozy Catskills weekend with our pup at Evelyn’s cabin. As she describes, it’s a rustic haven in the woods, complete with a fireplace to warm the cool evenings and a porch to take in the sounds of the nearby creek. It’s a quick drive for takeout options and groceries, as well as the Dollar General (in case you forget to bring your own towels). The cabin was the upstate retreat we were hoping for and we would definitely go back!

Log cabin hideaway is a lovely escape. Great mountain views, cozy fire and welcoming place. We went on a couple of the recommended local hikes and were really rewarded with magical views and trails off the beaten track. Location was perfect for exploring the catskills and for simply enjoying the cabin day and night.

Very enjoyable stay at Evelyn’s cabin. It is very much as advertised…it’s a no-frills cabin in the mountains. There are a few neighbors so you don’t feel too isolated. Not far to town, but remote enough that it’s perfectly quiet and peaceful. Would definitely go back!

The cabin is super relaxing! VERY quiet. It’s rustic yes… but not in a severe way. It was cute. The beds were super comfortable. The fireplace was awesome. The only thing I would say… if you are visiting in winter …. Make sure you have warm clothes to wear inside. It was def. On the cold side inside the cabin. Even with the heating and the indoor fire it was chilly. Other than that it was perfect!!!
