Fantastic little cottage with everything as expected from description and photos. Superb location which was even better than anticipated - and Bakewell only a 10 min drive away with everything on hand there. Cottage so, so cosy and comfortable. Highly recommended and if visiting Derbyshire again will book for sure.

Lovely stay in a peaceful and cosy cottage. Provided with everything we needed for a little week get away. Lovely walks surrounding and was nice to come home to the lovely house.

Everything was great and the stay was marvellous. Lovely peaceful location not far from Bakewell and only 15 minutes from Chatsworth House. Would recommend highly to couples wanting somewhere quiet to relax.

Townend Cottage is small but packed with charm, very comfortable and warm. A perfect setting for exploring the area, a pretty village location with a proper pub! Nice touches throughout the cottage make it a great choice for a break in beautiful Derbyshire.
