Spent 3 nights.. i chose this place because of its view ! The ferry was so very easy and cheap and pretty much next door. I was very happy i went with my intuition and brought a small smart tv ONLY because the predicted forecast in which it rained for a solid 20 hrs and going out wasnt much of an option when its downpouring all day! But we made the best of it and Jim answered all my questions immediately after i sent them and helped out alot. The view is absolutely stunning!!! Pictures don’t even slightly do it justice. And having my coffee on that screened in porch every morning was worth it all! . My only complaint would have been how uncomfortable the bed is.. extremely stiff but I was not expecting much out of a cabin i picked this place for the view. Definitely the most desolate town ive ever stayed in but with the ferry right there and running constantly and for the added experience it was all perfect. I would absolutely choose this place again.

Can’t ask for a better lake front location… the sunrise and the Moon at night shining off the Lake was priceless

The location cannot be beat, felt like we were sleeping on a boat with gentle waves. Loved swimming off the dock. Had everything you could need and went above and beyond to provide what we’d forgotten (even offering to let us borrow sneakers to visit nearby Ausable Chasm which requires them for adventure course).
