Had a really nice stay! Quiet without being too far off the beaten path, and an hour drive from Niagara Falls. We liked the views and open space. We didn't get to go hiking but loved the ambience of the surrounding woods. Bedroom was a great place to watch a sunset! Having the downstairs available with its own bathroom was great for our teen son to have his own space, and he slept well on the air mattress. Plenty of sheets, blankets, towels, and pillows were available. We had great TMobile phone service in case anyone needs to know. The owners were very nice! We got to meet them while waiting for the eclipse that got clouded-out LOL! Loved watching the chickens going about their day, and we were just in time to listen to the spring peeper frogs singing all night from the nearby water. Just an FYI for some, the stairs can be a bit steep if you have bad knees, but we were okay. We had a nice, low key, relaxing time in a quiet place!

The host was friendly through text/ email. Due to the holidays and all of the coming and going, we didn’t meet in person but that wasn’t a negative. It made it feel like we had the place to ourselves. I highly recommend the carriage house and will be interested in staying there again as it is centrally located to our family. Great experience!

Had a very nice stay. Very quiet, clean and relaxing. Nice carpet in the bedroom, plank flooring in the kitchen, comfortable living room furniture. Bed was soft but warn out. Nice blankets. Very good shower, nicely equipped little kitchen with good dishes, mugs, glasses, utensils. Plenty of room and completely quiet. After two days it felt like home. Very good clean heat, hot water. The washer and dryer were great. Nice insulated windows.
