Both Dartmoor National Park and Exeter are only 20 minutes’ drive away, whilst the famous south Devon coast, with wonderful sandy beaches, is barely 3 miles. Exeter and Newton Abbot racecourses, several golf courses, lots of family theme parks, Paignton Zoo, sailing and fishing can all be found within easy reach. Numerous National Trust properties are close by, including Agatha Christie’s Greenway. Steam trains travel from Kingswear to Paignton, and Totnes to Buckfastleigh.
