We are 15 mins to Donner Lake and Truckee and just a bit further is spectacular Lake Tahoe. Donner Summit area has some of the finest skiing in the world, it's an ideal location as your base for hitting the slopes. Locally -Soda Springs Resort, Donner Ski Ranch, Royal Gorge, Sugar Bowl and Boreal. Squaw Valley and Alpine and Northstar are half an hour away

Our family cabin is located in the heart of lower Moonridge, just a short drive to the lake, village shopping, zoo, and many more attractions. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by trees, the back of our property borders San Bernardino National Forest hiking and biking trails. This is a perfect getaway with the ambiance of a mountain cabin in the woods, pet friendly, with modern features like WiFi, TV and access to multiple streaming services, and of course, a wood burning fireplace.

Kodiak's Cottage - A 1920’s Classic

Begin your day on the porch with a fresh cup of Keurig coffee or walk 1 block to a breakfast cafe or Boulder Bay Park. My hope is that you'll feel relaxed and comfortable as you finally reconnect with the part of you who likes a good book by the fire or listening to an album to recall a great memory. This quiet 1920s historic cottage sits below the main house at the base of a 3/4 acre lot close to the 'action' yet a world away. Now go put on one of our cozy robes and relax.
