Dorothy's place was everything we could have hoped for and more. It is set in the most beautiful surroundings and the scenery is breathtaking. It was so peaceful and tranquil, with only the lovely birdsong to wake to in the mornings. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower lovely and hot. There were all the amenities we needed for our stay. Everywhere was easily accessible by car or bus, and there are some beautiful walks right from the cottage. We walked from Dorothy's place to the top of Blencathra and back which was amazing. Dorothy and Greg were both very friendly and welcoming and happy to stop for a chat. We hope to definitely come back again to stay, and would highly recommend.

Our experience staying as a guest at Dorothy and Greg’s home was by far the best we’ve ever had. We felt very much at home, all our needs were taken care of, and we chose to interact with our hosts (privacy is respected) which made the stay even more exceptional. It seemed more like we were staying with family members rather than strangers. The cottage was perfectly outfitted with every detail, and the location was peaceful, very quiet, the songbirds birds were plentiful, and the surrounds visually stunning. Conveniently located to explore all the Keswick fells. We look forward to coming again.

Our second visit to Dorothy’s and it was once again a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The house is perfect for two people and has everything one needs. We will be back again!

Wonderful place to stay. Very peaceful. Ideally located to explore the lakes. The apartment was very clean and tidy, with extras like dishwasher tablets etc for our convenience. Great wildlife on the door steps, red squirrels and lots of birds. Looking forward to returning and recommending this place to our friends Thank you Dorothy.
