Great place to stay when exploring San Ignacio and surroundings! Nice to have a pool to cool off. Walking distance to restaurants and San Ignacio market.

Not the bed arraignment that was stated but we made do with what we had. Also had a broken air conditioner that had to be replaced. Considering it was close to 100 degrees when we got there it would have been nice to be fixed before we got there and turned them on. The people at the hotel are very nice and accommodating tho I will say that.

Really great value, amazing pool area. We would definitely stay again. The unit is a little house behind a resort. The house is private and quiet. The only we gave it a four is one of the mattresses was very worn, with pokey springs, and the bathroom sink leaked. Still, a really good deal with lots to do within walking distance.

We enjoyed our stay very much at Michael’s place. It was exactly as he listed it. It was clean and enough room for the 4 of us. The AC was excellent and the shower pressure was awesome. The surroundings are lush and it’s surprisingly quiet right next to the hotel and restaurant. The restaurant had great food , we especially loved the desserts! We walked into town everyday, enjoyed a real farmers’ market, local food and people . The linens were crisp and clean every day and the towels were lovely and warm. The staff is friendly and chatty . We loved the pool. It came in so handy for all the hikes and our visit to Tikal! Highly recommend! Overall we had a great stay at Michael’s and would recommend. Thank you Michael!

Resort is super easy to find. Casita Verde needs maintenance!!!! Outlets hanging from the wall and kind of scary to use and some lamps not working. Ants were crawling all over the wall in one bedroom and dead bugs/droppings on the bed. Staff tended to the problem with bug spray and new bedding. Our water bottle was empty, air conditioner off and refrigerator unplugged when we arrived - not very welcoming. The water bottle was replaced quickly - staff inserted bottle and left. Water then just ran out the back of the dispenser and all over the floor. Staff use the front step/patio of this unit as lounge area. We had to ask for them to not hang out there when we were in the unit. Casita Verde is directly off the restaurant (steps away) and the walkway was always blocked with tables. The staff at Midas Resort were all wonderful. The pool was very nice (the best part of the resort) and bar tender was great (didn't get a name).
