from before I made the booking, Scott was very friendly and responsive and was able to answer all my queries. the place itself was amazing. I can't even describe how peaceful and calming the area is. the BBQ hut was a lovely addition to the whole experience. would definitely recommend. Thanks for the lovely hosting Scott/Sean.

The hut is very cozy and peaceful. Really enjoyed the indoor firepit, where we cooked BBQ both nights. The host was very friendly and keen to help. Would definitely recommend.

During our visit, we spent two nights at Owl Lodge. The location was relatively easy to find (about 10 mins from the A1). Sean was very communicative when arranging our time of arrival and very flexible. Upon arrival, he gave us a very warm welcome and guided us to our lodge. We were instantly wowed by the woodland setting. The cabin was perfectly heated and well stocked with everything we needed - the Nespresso machine was particularly welcome. It is clear that a great deal of thought has gone into the design of the cabins and there are lots of nice touches. The bed was really comfortable and the selection of board games was great. Friendly suggestions were given about possible days out and there were various leaflets within the cabin. The grounds are superb and great for a wander - amazing views and chickens! We will likely return again and look forward to making the most of the BBQ cabin. Both Sean and his dad made us feel very welcome and you can tell it is a place run with love.

We stayed in Owl Lodge for a couple of nights and just wish it could've been longer! The lodges are set in a beautiful area and are the perfect base to explore the surrounding towns and attractions. Sean was a great host and we will be highly recommending this place to family and friends

We had a fantastic stay at the owl lodge - the lodge was clean, comfortable and the grounds are beautiful. Even though there are 2 other cabins they are definitely far enough away that you have privacy. Scott was a great host - very friendly, attentive and always on hand to help. Nice touch that tea coffee and milk were provided. Would recommend booking the bbq hut for the evening.
