Beautiful place that's very close to the beach and food. It's a very remote area with a pothole filled highway to get there and lots of bugs! WiFi is slow but everything should load. The only issue is making phone calls. 9/10

Israel and Erika were wonderful hosts! They were very welcoming and very thoughtful. We have stayed in Mayto for several years and never rented a place with a kitchen, much less a beautiful kitchen like this one! This was a huge plus for us: having a place to cook fish my husband caught on the beach was fantastic. We also loved the very comfortable bed, the view of the ocean, and the proximity to the gorgeous Mayto beach (just a quick walk down the hill!). We were impressed with the Internet speeds in the middle of nowhere! We had a wonderful stay and didn’t want to leave. In fact we accidentally almost stayed an extra night (mix up with our calendar) and Israel was totally gracious about our mistake. This is a really nice house for a rural area!

I have never been so impressed with a location and host. I was there ten days and I didn't want to leave. Everything was far more than I expected. I wanted a quiet, remote location to complete some projects without distraction and I can't imagine a better place to do it. The clear nights with very little light pollution reminded me how many stars I've missed seeing. The beach is beautiful and with the window open at night the sound of the surf put me into a restful sleep. Already the house is difficult to find available and I hesitate to tell you how wonderful both the house and Israel are since it will be even more challenging for me to go back. Israel is kind and very responsive. He will do everything he can to make your stay enjoyable. Be prepared to not have cell phone service once you leave El Tuito. But the satellite internet at the house has decent speed. While there is a small store I am glad I brought my groceries with me.

el lugar super tranquilo ....si en realidad quieren descansar es el lugar indicado ...así como sus playas están muy bonitas ....y es muy seguro el lugar ...se los recomiendo al 100% y la villa tortuga tiene todo ...

Israel fue muy atento. Por las condiciones del lugar y lo complicado de llegar, necesitas tener mucha paciencia.
