Stayed at this location for about 2 months. Spent Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Yrs at Robin's place, and it was GREAT. The place is very cozy & peaceful. It's perfect for taking walks around the area. Everybody around there is friendly. There's many places nearby (like literally only a few blocks away and around the corner) including restaurants, a gym, a library, parks, and a pier. The place itself was very clean. The washer/dryer were a bonus for me. I would recommend it, Robin is an excellent host & responds within minutes.

Close to the beach, restaurants, bars, shopping… EVERYTHING! Great value safe location.

Robin's place was the best location at Colonial beach, central to all the restaurants, and just 8mins walk to Lenny's for breakfast and the same time to Ice House Brewing. It is also two mins walk to the beach, which mid-August was surprisingly quiet, though busier on the weekends. The home was a perfect space, as described and as shown in the pictures. We didn't use the kitchen much, but it had a good amount of pots and pans, dishes, glasses etc. The little deck was a quiet place to sit in the shade in the afternoon.

Great spot to explore Colonial Beach and other parts of the Northern Neck

Great host, the house is 2 mins walking from a smaller, less crowded beach. There were Jelly fish in the water (July 22 - 28) but towards the end I didn't see any. They didn't sting me, but my girlfriend got stung and it hurt like burning yourself on a stove for about 40 mins and then went away. Very small town, most places closed at 5 on a weekday but there are a handful of spots open later (until about 11). Restaurants were not the greatest, saw a lot of Sisco trucks supplying spots over town. Great house, was nice and cool on the hottest days, roomy shower, great deck to have a beer while you sit in the shade. I will bookmark this spot for the future.
