cosy clean cabin super peaceful and the bed was great big and super comfy there’s a pub at the top of the hill that does good food all in all a great little stay

Had a wonderful week at Kim’s place. The accommodation is in a beautiful and peaceful location and is also more spacious than it looks in the photos. We were visited daily by the birds and also glimpsed the hares in the field and heard the owl on a couple of occasions. We would definitely recommend this property and hope to visit again soon.

We had a great stay at the Woodland Lodge in Staithes. It was well situated in the village, just a short walk to the local amenities. There was also private parking which was a bonus. The lodge was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Thank you for a lovely relaxing stay.

A great little hideaway and so peaceful. The hill down to the lodge is very steep but we managed as we are keen walkers. You could hear the running beck which was nice and an owl most evenings somewhere in the distance. If you are coming back in the dark it would be advisable to have a torch with you. We stayed for Christmas week and Kim had decorated with tinsel which was a nice touch. The wifi is very good as I didn’t have any phone signal even in the village but that was quite nice. The lodge is lovely and warm and felt cozy in the evening. Parking was ample next to our lodge. We didn’t meet Kim but when I messaged her prior to our stay she got back to me no problem. It was handy having a bus stop at the end of Staithes Lane to go to Whitby and the fish & chip shop over the road was fantastic. The Captain Cook Inn was great for drinks too. A lovely village which is super dog friendly. We would love to come again.
