Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und gemütlich. Wir haben uns hier gleich wohl gefühlt. Auch das Bett und die vorbereiteten Handtücher waren super. Die Lage ist auch sehr schön. Ein klarer Nachteil ist allerdings dass sich die Badtür nicht schließen lässt. Sie ist immer einen kleinen Spalt auf. Außerdem wirkt die Wohnung auf den Bildern viel größer als sie eigentlich ist, aber das war in Ordnung. Zudem war es extrem warm in der Wohnung. Wir mussten erstmal die Heizungen ausmachen und gründlich lüften. Hatte Sauna Qualität. :D Alles in allem waren wir aber zufrieden.
Pequeña y acogedora casita para disfrutar de un pueblecito cerca de Edimburgo y sus alrededores. Resultó fácil llegar y todo perfecto con la entrada autónoma. Autobuses a Edimburgo con trayecto de 1h. En coche media hora. Está muy cerca del parque regional de las Pentland Hills (maravilloso) y de la capilla de Rosslyn. Hemos disfrutado mucho de la estancia y nos encantaría volver a Escocia pronto tras esta maravillosa experiencia.
Sweet little cottage. Nicely equipped. Clean and comfortable. Great Co-op store in the village just a minute's walk away. The stairs up to the bedroom are a little daunting. Hold on tight!
Had a wonderful stay here over Christmas, and would definitely stay again.
The cottage is well located, cosy, tastefully decorated .The linen and towels were of high quality. Whilst the description of the stairs , kitchen and bedroom are accurate , the physical space in the kitchen and bedroom is very limited. There are no cupboards for food storage in the kitchen , and there is little space to actually prepare food.However everything that you needed was present. The bedroom has a very small space at the end of the bed in which you can stand and limited storage, so we lived out of our suitcases. The stairs are also challenging for people with good mobility, Since the depth of the tread will not take the length of an average adult foot, hence the need to go sideways. The owners have obviously considered the safety of the staircase and have provided motion sensitive lighting at the top and bottom of the stairs at night. They have done their best to utilise the space available. The lounge is a good size and comfortable.
