We rented a house right across from the ocean at 23 Oceanside Dr Scituate MA. It was a great location. A nice walk to the lighthouse and harbor. A great house to have a pet family gathering!

Do not stay here. False advertising. The pictures on Airbnb are clearly from years ago. The hot tub was closed and dirty. The grill was rusted and didn’t work. The fire pit starter was ruined from the salt air. The lawn furniture was dirty, broken and on its side. The door in the kitchen under the counter was broken and splintered, falling off the hinges. The drawers were full of junk. The water filter in the fridge hadn’t been replaced and water stopped coming out. 3 of the four mattresses were very hard and the pillows were lumpy. The door in the downstairs bedroom was off the hinges and broken. It rained and all four bedrooms upstairs leaked. There was black mold in all of the skylights. The kitchen windows and sliding glass door leaked as well. There aren’t really words to describe the disappointment and stress. Additionally half the house didn’t have heat and the house shouldn’t be available as an off season rental. I hope this house is removed from Airbnb and truly should be leveled.

This is such a lovely and quaint beach cottage. Great for large groups with plenty of personal and gathering space. The amenities, like the hot tub, were awesome! The kitchen was massive and well stocked with cooking utensils. Some of the non-stick pans were on their way out, but we were able to cook every meal no problem. There is a great linen closet with plenty of sheets and towels, as well. The beds were also very comfortable. We were sad our stay came to an end, but we would rebook this place in a heartbeat!
