I’ll start with the positives… The location was excellent. There was a hairdryer. I booked well in advance, and then received a message to say we’d been double booked and for the same price would be using a public bathroom, i said this wasn’t acceptable and suddenly the bathroom was available again. I had let the host know that we would be arriving late in the evening due to our flight times and they waited until we were stood on the doorstep in the pitch black to say wouldn’t let us in until the city tax was paid online. After we paid, we were buzzed into a dark hallway. There was a lockbox which was ridiculously stiff, we broke nails on it and the host watched us, I asked for help and they wouldn’t. The room we stayed in is not the room that is pictured on the listing, the one in the listing looked much nicer. There is noisy building work/shop staff from 7am right outside the window. It was clean enough but note that using the shower floods the whole floor. No signal or wifi.
