Really loved our stay here, such a relaxing village. Hearing the church bells regularly was a highlight and walking round the nearby surroundings. Great for hiking and enjoying a drink/pub lunch in the nearby traditional English pubs. Michelle was a great host, we had the pleasure of meeting her beforehand, she was very informative of the area and felt confident in her suggestions. Would love to stay here again.

Lovely room, perfect for my weekend walking with a guided group. Very comfortable bed, spacious shower, plenty of room. Microwave, kettle, fridge, coffee machine all in place and easy to use. Definitely recommend.

An amazing stay at Michelle’s place. Had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. Local shop and bakery on the doorstep. Great location for picturesque walks in the local area. Hosts Michelle and Jason were superb. Friendly and recommended lots of places to eat and visit. 100% would recommend and would definitely return back.

A fantastic stay in The Snug. The hosts were friendly, welcoming and informative about the local area. The space was well equipped with welcome gifts such as a bottle of fizz, milk and biscuits from the local bakery a few doors down. Would highly recommend The Snug and wouldn't hesitate in booking again. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Michelle was extremely helpful, as was her husband and made us feel very welcome. Michelle was great at responding to our messages prior to arrival and later greeted us and was lovely to talk to in person. The location was great, it offered a scenic walk, local cafes/pubs (recommend from the host was best) and close to Bakewell. The room/bathroom were as seen on pictures and was suitable for a couple over 2 nights. Would recommend for the room, host and location.
