Our stay at the Whistle Stop couldn't have been better. Henfield is lovely and has everything we might have needed. The Whistle Stop is clean, neat and spacious and so comfortable. Jo has provided everything you might need for a happy and relaxing stay. Being so close to family just down the High Street was a major bonus. We'd recommend Jo's place for anyone coming to the South Downs.

Great location with car parking. Stylish accommodation with a welcoming and homely feel. Everything you might need thought of and more like, bread,butter,jam,marmalade,biscuits,eggs biscuits for cheese, variety of teas, choice of coffee, milk and a cupboard offering cooking oil etc. Excellent choice of crockery, saucepans and oven ware. Lovely large towels to wrap yourself in and bathrobes too!! if I could have given Jo 6stars I would have. Even the rain stopped and we had 3 days of sun.

Unusually for me I was staying away from home on my own and found the Whistle Stop very secure and comfortable. Spacious, beautifully clean and very well equipped , I particularly enjoyed the lovely garden views and the convenience of its setting in the village. Would be very happy to stay again. Just perfect! A very high spec, beautiful property with everything you could possibly need. Great space and so peaceful. The garden allowed us to enjoy the lovely weather. All the information we could want was clearly provided and lots of helpful walks right from the doorstep. Being in a centre of town/village location with plenty of local shops and eateries on the doorstep…..yet completely silent at night. Jo made us feel very at home and lovely touches like the welcome foods and fresh ground coffee in the fridge. Huge comfortable bed and just such a relaxing stay. Thank you, we’ll isit again
