the highlight for us was the pool, we had so many visitors! we had 3 different types of monkeys, toucans, iguana, a turtle, so many butterflies, and birds. It was truly a jungle pool:) we had some problems with check in and a couple of other issues but there was good communication and resolutions.

This place… I would 100% go back again. Giuly was so helpful & friendly. It was quiet, except for the occasional barking dogs & the rousing morning chorus of howler monkeys. We saw gorgeous blue butterflies & a monkey. The kitchen had basically what we needed, the beds upstairs were very comfortable, & the bathroom towels were soft and fluffy. There isn’t much ‘comfy’ seating inside but there were plenty of pillows & we made it work. It was awesome having AC in the main bedrooms and living area and ceiling fans everywhere- even the porches- helped so much. It was a little difficult finding the driveway & a bit tricky getting the keys from the lockbox but after that it was a breeze. We rented a golf cart from Puerto Viejo & also used a TukTúk. The little roadside Take It Easy has the awesomest jerk chicken. Tamara’s & La Nena were top notch. We came to San Jose for dental work & our wonderful driver Jorge took us to La Fotuna & an indigenous chocolate ‘plantation’- a highlight for sure

We loved it here! It was our favorite spot to be! The pool was amazing! We loved all the outdoor areas! We saw monkeys every day! The kitchen was fully furnished and had plenty of supplies. The bedrooms were sparsely decorated, but nice and the bathrooms were great. We would not hesitate to stay here again! Guily was very helpful and accommodating.

Casa super cómoda, es tal cual se ve en las fotos,equipada con todo lo necesario. Las personas que nos recibieron a nuestra llegada fueron muy amables!

Casa Punta Uva it's amazing, looks just like the pictures (very nice spots and a great pool!), it's fully equipped and has everything you could need for your stay. House is located about 100 m from the main road and though is a bit lonely, cameras help feel secure. Hosts are very responsive of any needs. Cleaning was the main opportunity we found.
