This property has serious potential. I believe luck was not on our side. The yard crew blew grass into the pool, more than the net provided could remedy. It's Florida in August, but the overall house was very warm. The AC ran the entire time we were there, then turned off our final night. Turns out, after being scolded by the owner, there was a problem with the AC. Though they remotely monitor everything, it was the last night before they realized the temp in the house never went below 77. So, between losing the first day of pool usage(which is what we planned to do the first day and didn't plan anything else) and being hot the whole time- it was great ;)...

Our stay at Grotto on the Green was perfect for our family of adult kids in their 20’s and 4 parents. We enjoyed the amenities and location. The home has plants of space. The one thing I would say is the house actually can sleep 10 although it is advertised for a max of 8. We had one room completely unused so I wish I had known! Otherwise a great stay!

We had an AMAZING stay. The host was very responsive the entire trip. The kids loved the pool area and we were minutes from the beach. We cannot wait to return.

Beautiful home with all the amenities we were looking for! The private pool was a huge hit with our kids and we loved being able to relax in a very spacious home!

We had a nice stay here. The house is right next to the golf course which was really nice. We just had a couple issues.. they have a smart thermostat that sets the temperature of the house. We could adjust it, but since the thermostat is on a schedule, the temperature would automatically adjust back to their settings at night. We all woke up sweating and couldn't sleep and the host had it set at 74 degrees. The host was really responsive and did turn down the setting on her end when we brought the issue up the next day, but remember that you have to tell them what temperature, or it will be set at their default settings. The other issue is that the window coverings in the master bedroom are just for privacy, not for sleeping. Having black out window coverings would have been great because 7am came around and the room was completely bright.
