A lovely cottage that has been modernised but not removed the character. Just around the corner from pubs and the market square. Always parking available outside the cottage. Beds comfortable and nice linen and towels. Bathroom perfect with great shower. Would definitely recommend.

Barber's Bolthole was a complete gem. Beautifully restored and so homely and comfortable. The rooms are generous and beautifully finished. The whole property is very well equipped. Arthur communicated clearly, providing easy instructions for check in and local attractions. Easy on street parking right outside the door. And a lovely little garden. The coop is just around the corner, open until 10pm, for provisions. Masham is a gorgeous little town with many things to keep you busy. Everyone is so friendly. Beer and food were both in great supply here with Black Sheep and Theakstons breweries in town. There is even a gin distillery. Harry's for fish n chips a must. And What the Smoke for a truly special occasion. We will definitely be back. Thank you Arthur.

A lovely cottage finished to a high standard. Parking directly outside and a short walk from the Market Square. The welcome pack was very much appreciated, as was the super king size bed in the main bedroom

We had a fantastic time at Barbers Bolthole! The cottage had everything we needed and lovely extra touches like the welcome hamper and even robes. The bedding and towels were lovely quality and a cot and high chair were left all set I’m up for us too. It’s a really spacious property with 4 adults, a 5yo and 1yo having plenty of room. Would definitely stay here again.

Arthur's house is lovely and we had a great time! The house was renovated recently and is very clean, comfortable and true to the photos. Arthur is a great host, very responsive and sent us clear directions and information about the town and what to do around. We enjoyed the local beer gift they left for us! We recommend staying in this very nice house!
