A little cedar shake shingle cottage overlooking 75 feet of pristine lakefront. Imagine yourself having an early morning swim, then a nice breakfast down by the water, as you enjoy the birdsong. It’s also easily to spend the day at all the local shops. The cottage is close to Portland, Windham and Freeport or take a hike and still be home to watch the sunset and relax around the fire pit. Then drift off to sleep listening to the song of loons. At 450' square feet, with deck and large yard, this “big version” of a tiny house, includes a fireplace with lovely treehouse style views from the second floor bedroom. Ceilings are low on the first floor, so if you are over 6' this might not be your happy place. The rustic kitchen is stocked for your basic cooking needs including an electric kettle, french press, dishes, cookware and microwave. the kitchen (and bathroom) are small to match the interior.

Great destination for a relaxing getaway and was a wonderful location to view the change in fall foliage. Location on the lake was serene and peaceful while close enough to Portland to access things to do in the city

Such a beautiful cottage by an idyllic lake. Such a homey and comfortable place. Excellently decorated and curated. Lovely garden. A place you can tell is full of happy memories. Would come again!

This cozy quintessential lakefront Maine neighborhood surrounds a private lake. The house is tucked into the tall pines and maple trees. But still close to 95 (depending on the direction of the wind you can sometimes hear the traffic) for easy access to Portland, Freeport and Windham.
