This is a cozy, feel like home, well provisioned place to stay. Don is informative and does exactly what he says he will do. The kitchen was well stocked and the den was a nice place to gather in the evening. Nice area to walk around and just look and your environment. Thanks Don and Nina.

Don was a wonderful host. He explained everything we needed to know about the house in detail and was very prompt to respond to any issue we had. The location was perfect and fit very well in our travel plans. The view out the back was beautiful and the outdoor space was private and peaceful. We very much enjoyed staying there.

Don’s place is exactly as described in the listing. It is a beautiful location and had everything we needed. We were in the area to spend time with family so we did not spend much time there, but we felt right at home when we were there. Don reached out the day before arrival to explain a few things and although we didn’t need anything we knew if we did he would be available.

The home is nestled in a quiet area of lake homes out in the country. The kitchen is very well stocked with any cooking device you might need, had modern appliances, paper goods and even a few basic refrigerated items and spices if you're planning to cook...which we didn't do much. We appreciated the W/D as we were in ME for two weeks. The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms clean, the living room and sitting areas were cozy and included a pair of rocking chairs. We spent our days away so didn't use the flagstone patio with table/chairs or the lawn area which would be a nice play area for kids or lawn games. Don was very responsive and helpful. Although the home is out in the country, the roads to nearby cities of Portland, Brunswick, Yarmouth and Freeport provided opportunities to enjoy lovely drives in the Maine countryside.

So enjoyed our stay. House is located on a beautiful lake. Swim each morning. Don was a great host and his communication was great. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen had all the supplies needed and more. My dog Otis was welcomed which is so important to us! Great hiking trails near by which is a plus! Definitely will be back!
