We recently stayed at Netherdyke Hideaway. It's a lovely little cabin in a beautiful location. So peaceful and and quiet and just what we needed to get away from it all. Charmaine and Jonathan were lovely, friendly hosts. We'll happily stay again in the future.

We had a great few days staying at Charmaine and Jonathan’s cabin while exploring Galloway Forest Park. Was the ideal base to come back to after a day on the bikes. The cabin was spotlessly clean, had plenty of hot water and the kitchen was well-equipped. Weather was a bit too blustery to enjoy the fire pit and the swing but the skies are amazing on a clear night nonetheless. Would love to come back again in the future!

The location of the cabin was lovely, feeling tranquil and private. We made excellent use of the fire pit and barbecue (remember to take your own firewood though), with the swing bench being a nice addition. Unfortunately, we struggled somewhat with the heating - it took a few hours for the AC unit to heat the cabin which made for some slightly uncomfortable mornings. The cabin is generally well equipped - a comfortable bed, nice seating area, and a kitchen with all of the appliances that you need - but little things (like having to rewash dirty utensils left in the cupboards and being left with only half of a toilet roll for a three night stay) were slightly disappointing. Generally, this was a nice, peaceful trip, but just make sure to bring everything that you need for your stay!

Perfect place for a weekend getaway. Cabin was clean and well equipped. The views were absolutely beautiful.
