An extremely well equipped and comfortable cottage with benefit of a beautiful private garden with seating and fantastic views. Sue (and Al) are excellent hosts, friendly and helpful who have made every effort to ensure you have a wonderful stay. Lots of information in the cottage about facilities, places to visit etc. Would highly recommend Bobbin Cottage

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely cosy cottage and especially enjoyed the views and sunsets from the end of the garden! The log fire was an added bonus and well used. The cottage is ideally located to see all the of the area, especially the Bluebells at this time of year. They are everywhere! Highlights included the drive through Darngarroch on the way to Logan Botanical gardens and Wigtown, which included a stop at the very pretty seaside village of Portpatrick. Glentroll and Bruce’s stone is also well worth a trip with lovely walks from the visitors centre.

thanks so much for having us, it was a wonderful stay. Very cute and cosy cottage with excellent amenities and well located for sights of Galloway. We felt very well looked after by Sue and would recommend a stay to anyone.

My family of 4 had a great stay. Its a cosy cottage with very comfortable beds. The view from the back garden was a nice surprise. We travelled down from Glasgow for a short break and used the cottage as a base for exploring the area. As the weather was typically Scottish, we entertained the kids with the gem rock museum, dark sky planetarium, cocobean factory, Dalscone farm park etc, all around 30 minutes away. I enjoyed the drives, as the scenery is great, some huge potholes on the minor roads. It was great to come back to the cottage out of the rain, put the fire on and play the board games provided.

Amazing stay at Bobbin Cottage. Lovely location for walks with the family and the property was so well equipped with all essential kitchen items plus great DVD's and games. The locals were super friendly and the neighbours even gave us some Easter eggs so we could do our own mini egg hunt in the garden. Ernespie Farm was a great place to visit with the little ones, as well as the Red Deer Range and Wild Goat Park, and coming home to a sit in front of a roaring fire was icing on the cake. Would highly recommend a stay here! Thanks Sue!
