Nik & Gina were fantastic hosts! We were the last booking of the year, and they were very welcoming and provided great accommodations. Their property is a great place to vacation with unbelievable views!

We really enjoyed our stay in the Kennicott River Lodge Cabins. The cabins are cozy and warm but the bathrooms, showers and kitchen are in the main lodge which is a shared space. There are glacier views from the cabins and the town of McCarthy is walking distance from the Lodge!

The location was everything! It’s as close as you can be to the foot bridge to town but still able to drive up to your cabin. The footbridge was an easy walk from our cabin. We booked last minute and the host was quick to respond to messages and was there to meet us when we arrived. The rafting trip we did was right next door as well, all the same company (we didn’t realize that when we booked so it all just worked out perfectly). The cabin was super cute and could have slept 6- we were only 3. The beds aren’t anything to write home about but you can’t beat the view and the location! Everything felt really clean, including the kitchen. We definitely overpaid going through Airbnb vs their actual website which we realized later… just sayin… Would definitely recommend staying here and booking a rafting trip as well!

Gina and Nick were always quick to communicate and they were very helpful with all my questions. The view was amazing! When leaving your cabin, make sure you have your key with you. The doorknob locks automatically if you don't unlock it. We got locked out. We will be back!

We stayed one night in the lodge due to limited availability of cabins and switched to a private cabin the next night. Both locations were great! Full shared kitchen in the main lodge to make meals. Super close to the foot bridge access to walk to McCarthy and stunning views. Definitely recommend this awesome place!
