What a perfect way to introduce my family to the traditional Alaskan bush experience, but in a way that is much more to my wife’s comfort level !! Denise is hands down the kindest and hardest working host we’ve ever experienced!! She has to do so much physical work to make the stay here so comfortable. Hauling your water in and doing laundry with basic solar is everyday here. We loved the simplicity of the gas lamps and wood stove. The nice clean outhouse was perfectly executed and the shower house is a technological work of art !! We really wished we had an extra day to just enjoy being at this amazing cabin. Thanks again Denise, you rock 💪🏼

great location in mccarthy! denise is awesome host. outdoor shower was nice. cabin is cute and comfortable for family of 5. bring eye mask if traveling in the summer. :)

We are so glad we decided to stay here. The Bluff cabin is peaceful, beautiful, and has the nicest outhouse I’ve ever seen in my 9 years living in Alaska LOL. The shower house is really nice and lovely to come back to after using sunscreen & bug spray all day on our adventures. You can hear the rushing river in the distance which we loved while enjoying our morning coffee or playing cards outside at night! Denise was so nice accepting our last minute request to stay here and I appreciate her planning/timing advice. We had the best time exploring McCarthy and Kennecott! The bed was REALLY comfortable too. I don’t think I’ve slept that hard or felt this rested in a long time! Thank you so much Denise!
