On the Hermanus lagoon, a short paddle to the beach, located on shore next to a milkwood forest is the house. Great design, very well appointed, extremely comfortable and totally relaxing. The decks, the hot tub, kayaking, biking, reading, creating wonderful meals, this place has relax in activity written all over it. Very close access by bike or car to wild beaches, mountain bike trails and numerous restaurants and wine farms. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will happily return. Heidi was super friendly and helpful, delivered my left behind kayak paddles to a friend and generally made the stay incredible. I can highly recommend this spot, remote yet close, super luxury yet wild, totally secure. A very unique experience not to be missed.

Our stay in Heidi and Dave’s place was all that we hoped. The house is beautifully spacious and thoughtfully designed and is located in an area of natural beauty. Everything we needed was available and our hosts were present in a way that made us feel welcomed and that helping us out if we needed it was a pleasure. Heidi offers a wonderful massage outside under the trees to the sound track of real birds. We were looking for a luxurious and simple retreat and were totally satisfied. We hope to return soon.

Very private and quite place, created for relaxing. Well equipped and hot tub making the place great for quiet evenings. Wish to have more time to enjoy and explore more the neighborhood.

Heidi and her husband David were extremely helpful. David made sure he was there to great us and show us the ropes. The place was beautiful and as expected. The area was lovely and quiet but near Stanford for an access to restaurants. A very relaxing spot!
