A well equipped and organised cottage with clear instructions on how to use everything. A lovely modern yet cosy cottage feel. I recommend a walk around the garden to fully appreciate the extent of it.

We had the most perfect stay at Backbarrow - the space was so welcoming, warm and clean. The garden is so beautiful - we visited in early spring before it was in full bloom and it was still so magical. My friends and I couldn’t believe how lovely this place was and all agreed that it is one of the best places we have stayed. Great access to local walks in the lakes and beautiful views from the cottage itself. We couldn’t have asked for more and we hope to return again for another trip in the future. Highly recommend. Thank you for having us!

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage. The house is just beautiful, with lots of character and we really enjoyed the garden too. we stayed for three nights and were sad to leave. We hope to bring our American in-laws back in the summer :)

Amazing house, it is huge. The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s a lovely house, we had 5 of us staying and it was perfect. Living room is upstairs with the bedrooms and kitchen is downstairs so just bear that in mind but not a problem. Very clean and great location. Some small country roads but easily accessible if you drive slow. Really would recommend!
