Girls getaway very peaceful on the river, easy walk to Kennerdell tunnel. Abundance of small wildlife sightings. Redbirds, squirrel, chipmunks, geese and beaver. Unfortunately it rained alot but we still had a good time. Blanes place was cozy and clean. Great place for a weekend getaway.

Our second stay at this Airbnb was just as fantastic as the first! The breathtaking views right outside surpass what any photo can capture. Both times, we found the home exceptionally clean and the host incredibly welcoming and responsive. We also recommend exploring the nearby attractions—Freedom Falls, Rockland Furnace, and the intriguing Rockland (Woodhill) Tunnel. Just a tip: the tunnel is a bit chilly and damp, so bring a sweater and flashlight. This place is a must-visit!

Our group (2 mid 70’s couples) loved Blane’s Riverview Retreat. The home was comfortable, well equipped and furnished. Its location right along the Allegheny River was fabulous. We definitely hope to return for a longer stay.

My friend and I stayed at Blane's airbnb for an impromptu weekend getaway after a crazy and stressful week. The airbnb exceeded all our expectations! The view of the Allegheny River from the deck was just as beautiful as pictured in the photos. The home was very comfortable, cozy, clean and had everything you'd need for a weekend or week away. We were both surprised how much bigger/more spacious it was than it appeared in the pictures! The property is also close to a number of great hiking spots. I hiked at Clear Creek State Forest since it was only a 5-minute drive. We also picked up takeout from That Place Eatery, and their burgers were amazing! Great customer service and great food for a great price. Overall, it was a perfect weekend... we just wish we could have stayed longer! Blane was incredibly helpful, friendly and accommodating. He allowed us to check-in early and even offered a late checkout! I'll definitely be back again!
