Great fall weather turned rainy and cold. We had planned on a canoe camping trip, but changed our minds at the last minute. Managed to book Don's place and it was a perfect substitute.: quiet, peaceful and on the banks of a river. There was a good 3/4 hour walking trail, when the weather allowed. Don pointed out a good apple tree, so we used the propane oven to bake apples. Don's cabin is nothing fancy, but it was ideal for our purposes.

My husband and I took our dog to Don's cabin for a wonderful long weekend and enjoyed every second of it! There is plenty of wildlife (hawks, snakes, beavers) and the river is so clean and clear. We enjoyed exploring the land and lounging in the hammock. Don was very friendly and quick to respond and brought us more firewood when we asked for some. The cabin had everything we needed and the night sky was breathtaking under the full moon! Thank you, Don!

This is our third time staying with Don, and as always everything was perfect. He's super friendly and very quick to respond if we needed anything. This is our favourite place to go, We will be back again for sure.

Dons cabin was the perfect little oasis. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to get away and disconnect. Perfect to hit that reset button on your busy life. The space is nice and secluded with everything you could need. The river is perfect to take a dip and cool off. The fire pit is perfect for a nice fire to end off the night just relaxing. The cabin gives off a cozy vibe and is a perfect fit for the area. We will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend heading out if your looking for some peaceful tranquility to help hit that reset button.

My kids and I loved our 3 days at Don's cabin. It's super cute and the property was nice and quiet and everything it promised. We fished, kayaked, lounged in the 2 hammocks, had a fire, and swam in the clear clean water. My only complaint was it needed to be cleaned a bit more but we will definitely be back.
