We loved Ian´s place so much! It was exactly as described and was perfect for our spring break getaway. Our favorite part was the backyard- full of beautiful succulents! It was fun to hear the elephant seals and all the birds in the morning. It´s also great how dog friendly his home is. We´ve had countless great experiences with homeowners who have generously let us stay at their property; to this end, Ian was the most kind, considerate and thoughtful owner we´ve interacted with. If you´re looking for relaxation and some Santa Cruz fun, Ian´s place is it!

Our family had a great stay at this little gem nestled in the Westside neighborhood. It was the perfect jumping off point for our trips to the beach, Boardwalk, and restaurants. We enjoyed taking in the local surf scene at Steamer Lane, and it was a short drive to the Boardwalk, UC Santa Cruz, the marine discovery center, Roaring Camp RxR and the Mystery Spot. The neighborhood was quiet and safe and you could easily bicycle (though we opted to drive due to stormy weather). We were very comfortable at Ian’s place, and the house had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway.
