This property in Captain Cook is well positioned to take advantage of Kealakekua Bay. There are spacious decks front and back and the rooftop deck provided a great vantage point. The outdoor kitchen was a novelty that allowed us to eat outdoors while still protected.

The best part if this vacation rental is the location and the 3rd floor lanai & view! Sylvia provided 2 beach chairs and a cooler at my request which was very nice. The place is comfortable, though a bit worn. It is perfect for a couple, but the layout would make it difficult for more than that. The lanai has a beautiful view of the captain cook monument and sunset. Location cannot be beat! Sylvia is a quick communicator. I would recommend this rental and would stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality!

I was not told there was major construction just 50 feet away from my lanai blocking the ocean view. I was woken up at 7am with hammering, compressor droning, screw shooter, men yelling - you get the picture - and it lasted all day. I chose this place because of it's proximity to Manini Beach, which is sacred to me for many reasons. The house itself is cheaply furnished and has no soul. It is put together like a cheap motel might do. Just enough to get by - and they were charging $300 a night! WHAT?! I left as soon as I could get another place. DO NOT STAY there til you are assured the construction is over and they have spent some money refurnishing and have done some cleaning - it was grubby and missing basic necessities like coffee filters.
