We LOVED the getaway and the scenic drive in. While we are on roads, please be prepared with four wheel drive for the mountainous terrain leading directly into the Airbnb for a little less than a mile. The Airbnb was beautiful and well worth every minute of our experience!! Fully stocked, Tim & Cindi provided everything we needed and then some. The property was everything we could have asked for and we will absolutely be making a trip back to Salamander Ridge 🤩

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming cabin nestled in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene surroundings. The cabin offered a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The proximity to nature was genuinely remarkable. Despite its compact size, the cabin felt surprisingly spacious, thanks to its open floor plan and cathedral ceiling. It comfortably accommodated my family - two adults and two kiddos (9 and 5). The cabin's location also made it an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area. Overall, our stay at the cabin was magical. Whether you're an outdoor enthusiast seeking adventure or simply looking to unwind and reconnect with nature, this cabin offers the perfect retreat.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We loved the proximity to nearby hikes and also spent one afternoon just relaxing by the campfire. Our kids also enjoyed walking the path to the stream at the bottom of the hill. The house maximizes the small space and is well equipped with everything needed to make yourself at home. Thank you for a nice getaway for our little family!
