Great location! Close to downtown and a lot of good restaurants. We were able to visit the farmer markets on Sat!!

There was a bad smell. I am not sure what it is, but it was worse when I opened the door to enter or exit. I tried opening a window, but that made it worse as well. Seems to be coming from the bathroom. The neighbor has a very loud barking dog that lets you know it is not happy that you are outside. They did bring it in after a time so I did get some nice time in the backyard, which is very private. No tissues, so we used other products. I think the price was high considering the negatives. It is very close to old town and lots of restaurants, and it was quiet other than the dog. Easy to access and parking was good.

Overall very satisfied. Place was super cute and nice cozy apartment unit. Easy and private access was great. Owner was very accessible and responsive about our stay. Street parking super easy. Appreciated dog friendly policy, yard, and quiet neighborhood streets to exercise her. Kitchen was very nice. Proximity was superb to activities like Monticello, the Downtown Mall (we walked over once and drove once), and many great and funky eateries in an up and coming section of town. As noted by prior reviewers, there was some musty basement smell when we arrived being a basement unit - but dehumidifier was on and plenty of heat pump / AC units; seemed to air out quickly during our stay. Neighborhood down the hill was a little bit sketchy but not an issue. Overall would recommend as a quality stay and great value.

This is a gem inside of downtown Charlottesville. It has a privacy fence that was perfect for enjoying the space with the dogs. It has everything you need for short stays, or long. It was the ideal location for us as a comfortable home base to most of Charlottesville’s offerings.
