I took a weekend trip alone for the very first time and although I wanted privacy, I didn't want to be too isolated. It was a perfect spot knowing Amy and Brian were right nearby. I could walk to the trail, to Schaefers (for a delicious, true MD crab cake) and around the corner to church on Sunday. I was also able to visit a cafe for breakfast and lunch, shops and a winery that were only 5-10 minutes away. I loved the fresh flowers in every room! The sitting room was cozy and warm. And I was grateful for the electric tea pot that I took advantage of all weekend long. Highly recommended. Cozy cottage. Cool and welcoming town along the water.

What a wonderful experience! From first contact, Amy was quick to accommodate our changed schedule and was so kind! The cottage is a perfect retreat and the extra touches of fresh cut flowers and a well stocked coffee station was an added bonus! We will reach out again on our next trip back to Chesapeake City!

We stayed at Amy's cottage for the Sip and Stroll event. It was our first time visiting Chesapeake City, and it couldn't have been a more pleasant and enjoyable experience. The cottage was spotless, modern, and in the perfect location - Right on the canal. Amy and Brian put so much thought into the details of the cottage. It was modern and immaculate. Highly recommended for your next stay!
