Matthew was a great host! Provided all the information I asked for in a timely manner and was very helpful! My daughter was recovering from knee surgery and we needed a place near University of Delaware. It was perfect! It was a little chilly so we didn't spend much time outdoors and we weren't venturing out, but we were completely happy sitting and looking out at the beautiful view from the comfy living room, watching the ducks, birds, gorgeous sunrises and sunsets (and March Madness!) and eating using the well stocked kitchen. Highly recommended for a relaxing little get away! (Or a really nice place to recover) Thanks Matt & Cait!

I liked it there. It was clean and comfortable. I felt safe at night. The view was pretty and there are restaurants, grocery stores, and parks near by. The sound of the water was relaxing and there were a ton of birds soaring in the sky and dipping and gliding into the water. That was nice to look at from the couch. As others mentioned, my advise would be to make sure you bring your own toiletries, and maybe a fan and an extension cord if you need to be on phone while it's charging. Overall, I would definitely recommend it and would stay again.

We stayed for a long weekend with our two children, ages 1 and 7, and we very much enjoyed our entire stay. The home was super clean and fully stocked with everything we needed, and the check-in process was very simple. An added bonus were the tons of toys that were included that my children absolutely loved! My husband and daughter enjoyed fishing off of the pier, and we did campfires everyday at the outdoor fire pit where there were tons of firewood provided. There was also an outdoor table with a fireplace center and a screened sitting area with an electric fireplace, though we didn’t get to use them because it was too cold, but it was a nice to know it’s there. The highlight of our trip was the amazing waterfront views of the lake! It truly was breathtaking to look at morning, afternoon AND night. If you’re looking for a relaxing weekend away this is where you want to be. Matt was a great host, communicated effectively, and made sure we were accommodated. We will definitely return

River location adequately priced - small cottage house - great living room- other areas in the house were average, But equipped with everything you need. (Except blankets/sheets/towels, which was advertised). Owner very responsive. Great view - quiet neighborhood, lots of local trails to explore in the area
