This is our second time staying here. We love how quiet and peaceful it is there. house is furnished with everything you need.

First of all, the neighbors to the left are AMAZING! Let our kids use their fishing poles and even went and bought some live worms for them to fish with! Sweetest people. It would be nice if there were outside pictures of the house so you know what to expect. Didn’t realize there would be houses so close, but it ended up being nice because of the neighbors. Didn’t realize the new bathtub and wine fridge were in a downstairs room separate from the rest of the house. That also ended up being nice because the kids hung out down there and watched t.v. But we originally planned on them sleeping in that area before we knew it had a separate entrance. We utilized the sofas in the main house for beds instead. It did have an odor when we first walked in but Sidney has LOTS of amazing smelling candles so we just lit those and it was fine. The towels and bed sheets are AMAZING! Definitely a kid friendly home and had toys and bouncers for babies which is nice if you have smaller children.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Sidney’s lake cottage. The location was great and the water was easily accessible. On top of that, the neighbors were amazing. Very helped especially with the grill. That’s being said, there were a couple of issues that popped up when we stayed there. The first was we noticed that there were a couple of things not fully cleaned or left behind. For example, dishes were left in the dishwasher and are visibly moldy. While Sidney gave us great directions and great recommendations, some of our questions especially what to do with our trash were left unanswered. Lastly, as stated in a previous review there is no hot tub so if you are choosing this Airbnb for that reason that is something to be aware of. All in all, still a great experience and a great place to spend time with your friends or family!!
