We loved our stay at the peaceful Pump House – a welcome respite from London life. Despite the howling wind and rain, it was the perfect spot to hunker down by the fire and watch the weather change around us. Stylish and comfortable, it was very well-equipped for meals in and excursions out. We'll be back!

The conversion has been carried out creatively and to a high standard. I love the floor to ceiling windows. They really do justice to the landscape / the incredible light you get in Dungeness. The fire place is also a great feature (definitely no need for a TV). Some of my fellow guests found the bedrooms a bit chilly and the beds weren't up to the same high specification of all the other features of the Pump Station. It really is a fantastic location though. There are some spectacular walks which begin as soon as you walk out the door (and which can end at the Snack Shack for freshly caught fish).
