I came with my 4 sisters & from the first, we were enchanted with William’s cabin. We all felt at home & William was an excellent host (very interesting to talk to). The house was spotlessly clean; it was a wonderful thing for us 5 to have our own room, each with an AC unit. The furniture was comfortable, all the standard appliances were available, the WiFi was strong and the hot water was almost instant, both in the sinks & the shower. We spent a majority of the time enjoying each other’s company, but when we ventured out, the lake was a 10-15 minute walk away, along with all the rest of nature’s finest. We cooked all our meals & only went out to eat once (we recommend the Village Grill - their breakfast is delicious!). William kept us stocked in drinking water as the house was on a sulphur well; but the well was treated & we could barely smell it. We highly recommend William’s cabin for those who want to be around nature - but not roughing it. It was a treat. Thanks, William!

Great location! Spectacular views walking down to the lake through the Sterling Nature Center. The bluff-side deck is a great feature. Exceeded expectations!
