Lisa and Chris have a very nice place in a beautiful setting. The beds are comfortable. Bedrooms are cozy. Bathrooms are very clean, with plenty of hot water and toiletries. The bed in the loft is right next to the shared bathroom, but this wasn't a problem for us... the heaviest sleepers took the loft bed, and the house itself is very comfortable for three couples. The kitchen has a good coffeemaker and plenty of plates and utensils, and there is a really cute bakery/country store just at the end of the street (.7 miles). The neighborhood is a hidden gem -- on a quiet dead-end street that runs along the Ausable River and is beautiful for walking. In the morning, the sun hits the front porch, making it the perfect place to sit and drink your coffee, listening to the river. It is easy to walk to the village of Keene - highly recommend dining at Forty Six (it's small -reservations recommended). We wish we could have stayed longer! We hope to return!

Le chalet est vraiment propre et encore plus beau en vrai que sur les photos. Superbe emplacement, l’hote à bien repondu à nos questions et nous avons adoré l’endroit. Nous allons certainement louer ce magnifique chalet à nouveau pour un weekend entre amis. Merci

The cottage was perfect for our family reunion weekend—we had three couples coming from different directions. The place is clean, spacious, and comfortable and in a gorgeous location. In particular the view of the stream and hillside from the master bedroom is just beautiful, and sleeping with the sound of the water is so peaceful. All the furnishings look very new. The description of the layout is accurate, but I didn't fully register that in the upstairs, you have to walk through the open loft bedroom to get to the second bedroom or the upstairs bathroom. That wasn't a problem for our group, but good for others to know what the setup is. We cooked some meals at the cottage and went out for hiking, skiing, and a great dinner close by at Forty Six. We had our dog with us, and the road along the river makes a nice walking spot. Highly recommended.

We loved it there with a babbling brook beside the master bedroom and the river across to road. It worked out very well for 4 adults and 2 little ones. Close to town and Whiteface. Nice walking on the access road. Comfy beds and an awesome fireplace. Nice design and layout. We'll most likely be back!

One of the best Airbnb places I’ve stayed at. It’s in middle of Keene and close to all the good hikes. The place is exactly what I was looking for, clean and minimal in a good way. It’s a very relaxing home, especially if you’ve had an active day. Our hosts were also very accommodating and were very responsive to questions we had. I would definitely stay here again!
