It felt like a privilege to be awakened each morning by streams of sunlight filtering through the surrounding forest and sparkling off the water. Keely’s home is all-things hygge and had a beautiful aesthetic of Scandinavian-like-simplicity and touches of local nature. I appreciated the emphasis on sustainability throughout the home. We loved how the grounds took incredible advantage of spots to simply ‘be’ and connect with nature, enjoying the sites and sounds where forest meets ocean. We spent a significant amount of our stay at Acadia, so plan for a minimum hour-long-drive to and from the park. We hope to be back some time soon!

Loved our stay. We traveled with our two school aged kids and they enjoyed sleeping in the room with the twin beds. The linens!!! Gah- the linens in this place were heavenly. I think Keely and I share a love for linen as all beds and blankets and towels were linen. Very eco-friendly which we greatly appreciated!! Peaceful with morning walks along the beach to collect rocks and shells was our favorite. One night we had clear skies and just watched the stars from the porch. Host was super responsive when asked for recommendations and when so many shops and cafes were ‘closed for the season’. I’d suggest a de-humidifier, but then again I’m not from a coastal town so not used to the smell that comes with that. Amazing stay! We loved it! Thanks!

This house is the best of all the houses we stayed in during our trip up the coast of Maine. It is truly a nature-lover’s dream. The house is full of beautiful pottery, neat art, books, and treasures found outside on their property. Hunting for own treasures and adding to the houses’s collection was the best part of the experience. Besides the view of course. Oh, the view! I really hope to return here. It’s the kind of home I truly want to live in. Many thanks to the hosts for sharing this gem!

How do you review heaven on earth? I could go on for days describing how magical this piece of earth is. The house is absolutely lovely as well. You will not go wrong booking this AirBnB if what you are looking for is peace, gorgeous views, privacy, nature, the sound of the water hitting the shore...

The house was perfect for a fall family vacation. Our kids enjoyed the property with access to the beach, hammocks and a tire swing - even though we spent most of our days seeing Acadia and coastal Maine. They especially enjoyed stargazing on clear nights. The kitchen is well-appointed and was enjoyable to use. Overall, a great location for exploring a beautiful part of Maine.
