Had a great stay with Maria! Very responsive, quite friendly when we briefly met, great house, and beautiful surroundings. Especially loved the animals on the property, most of all her incredibly friendly and lovable dog Luna. Thank you!

Maria's place exceeded our expectations on our Christmas trip to Maine. Maria was the perfect host, easy-going and thoughtful. The cottage is in a very peaceful setting. It was great watching the horses and chickens from the kitchen windows. We especially enjoyed our encounters with Luna, the lovable and well-behaved Great Pyrenees mix who would greet us when we were coming and going. Inside we loved the spacious, comfortable and homey living room with fireplace, well-equipped Tuscan kitchen, and very large bedrooms. Two full bathrooms were very appreciated. Maria let us know she was always available if we had any needs or questions. She provided firewood, kindling, and advice on starting the fire, which was so nice to have on Christmas Eve. The decor and surroundings felt very welcoming, like coming home after a long time away. Maria provided local recommendations, and the Portland area has many scenic and historic sites and excellent dining options. Wonderful stay!

This place was awesome. Very clean. Plenty of space. Very quiet. Beds were super comfy and both bathrooms had a shower with the main shower head and a hand held shower head, which I like a lot. The kitchen was the perfect size to make meals and sit at the table and enjoy our breakfast and late night snacks. Maria was a very responsive Host who not only met us when we arrived to show us around the place, she also reached out in the middle of our vacation to ask us how we are doing and if we needed anything. And, if you love dogs, Maria has a dog named Luna, who will great you every morning, if you call for her, which will start off your day with a smile.
